Berlin's Techno sound meets Tokyo's Underground Kinbaku Culture + An Exhibition by Shigetomo Yamamoto ( Japan ) + Weird films of Shuji Terayama + Aerial dance performance and more surprises.
A chance to watch or even experience full Japanese style Kinbaku (Rope Bondage) show along with cool techno vibes of Berlin plus a chance to view and purchase signed original framed illustration artworks (not prints) from the creator of Monster Girl, Shigetomo Yamamoto, one of Osaka's true underground artists.
This unique event will feature 3 kinbaku shows each around 45 minutes. The last show will be audience participation meaning that anyone can sign up to get tied or suspended free of charge by Hong Kong's best rope artist Subay Kinbaku ( limited openings )
This is not by any means a BDSM event. The music will feature SEMIH AKAY ( Pentagonik Records Berlin / Kasette Istanbul ) visiting from Europe , playing Dub Techno / Deep Tech tunes . Semih played in Clockenflap recetly, and also in Social Room in Hong Kong. He is a frequent DJ in Berlin clubs including KaterBlau , Suicide Circus, Golden Gate , KaterHolzig and manages one of true underground clubs of Istanbul called Kasette.
Support is by MarcoYu ( Utopia Hong Kong / FuFu ) one of the best up and coming techno DJ's in Hong Kong + AKIFHAKAN ( Romantic Ecchi )
The disturbing rare cult films of Japanese filmmaker/poet/photographer/theater director Shuji Terayama can be viewed in our projectors and aerial dancer Chiu TW (Hong Kong) will be doing her shows in between the kinbaku performances.
All of this will create a unique athmosphere never before experienced in Hong Kong. So save the date and live through this one of a kind event on February 17th.

The doors will open at 9pm .
9pm-10pm : Shigetomo Yamamoto exhbition viewing and socializing. This is a one night exhibition. Yamamoto;s first in Hong Kong. Artworks can be purchased throughout the night and will be available for pick up after midnight.
The music will start at 10pm.

Subay Kinbaku profile:
Subay is a rope bondage artist, performer and educator based in Hong Kong. She is the founder of Hong Kong Shibari group and owner of Kokoro Studio, the first rope bondage studio in Hong Kong.
Since 2014, she has been performing and teaching internationally. Her work was featured on Viu TV, fashion magazines and local news. In 2016, she cooperated with local singer TikChi to produce the first music video in Hong Kong that features rope bondage.
Subay has spent time with well-respected nawashis including Yukimura Haruki, Osada Steve, Naka Akira, Kasumi Hourai, Ren Yagami and Nuitdetokyo. Her rope bondage is often described as both caressing ,intense, calming but adventurous, and fun with a streak of sadism.
She has also organized 2 successful rope bondage festivals in Hong Kong in 2015 and 2016.
