Nano’s new album, titled “The Crossing” will consist of 12 songs in total including 8 brand new singles. It will be available on May 31 in three different versions. The [NA ver.] will come with a DVD for music videos “Bull’s Eye”,“DREAMCATCHER”, “MY LIBERATION” and the title track, “The Crossing”. [NO ver.], the second version will cover “Bull’s Eye”, “DREAMCATCHER” and “MY LIBERATION/PARAISO”, including piano arranged versions of nano’a past released songs. Both versions will be available to a limited 10,000 copies only. All new tracks are written in English and are meant to reach out to more overseas listeners.
In conjunction with the album release, the title tour, nano 5th Anniversary Tour “The Crossing” will begin on 11 August at TOYOSU PIT, before embarking on 5 different cities in Japan. Other touring markets include Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Jakarta.
Moreover, the singer’s very first regular series radio program will be launched from this April. Titled “The Crossing”, the program shares the same name with nano’s album. In the program, nano will play tunes that have hugely influenced the singer’s world of music, and of course listeners will also be entertained by the singer’s own works.
nano’s global promotion campaign for 5th anniversary year has proven to be rapid, opening an official merchandise online store that is accessible from all over the world, on top of an online score store selling the singer’s original scores. Through these wide scale movements, it is guaranteed that nano will only get more attention and eventually take the world by storm.
About The Artist:
nano was Born in New York, America. A bilingual singer with a powerful and unique voice. After posting English covers of Japanese music, she immediately received attention on video sites such as Youtube, and fans started to increase around the world. nano's debut album “nanoir” was released in March 2012. It peaked at 10th place in Oricon Daily Chart and caused an unusual chart action as a rookie.
Following the success of the album, first live show “Remember your color” was held in March 2013, and 2,500 tickets were sold out on the first day. In May of the same year, nano was invited by Japanese culture convention “DoKomi” that took place in Dusseldorf, Germany. Concert was packed with 1,500 audience. Last album “Rock on” was released in January 2015, and peaked at 6th on the Oricon weekly charts.
Since then, nano has been holding live tours in Japan every year. She is also doing solo concerts overseas, first one was held in Taiwan in April 2015. Fans continue to grow worldwide, as this amazing voice knows no borders.
