Following on from their sold out HK performance in 2013, YourMum is delighted to announce that Danish art rockers, Mew, return to Hong Kong to play KITEC MusicZone on 18th September.
With a career that has spanned over two decades, there’s no band quite like Mew. From their 1997 debut ‘A Triumph For Man’, through their global commercial success ‘Frengers’ in 2003 and beyond, Mew have established themselves as firm local favourites. Their grandiose, dream pop striking a chord with fans across the city. Touring in support of their seventh LP ‘Visions’ released in April, the LP is their most accessible and concise in recent memory. Cohesive and cinematic, Mew’s trademark epic soundscapes, soaring choruses and pop sensibilities are ever present. “Indie stadium” is how the band describe their music, and that sounds spot on to us.

YourMum呈獻：Mew香港音樂會
丹麥著名獨立搖滾樂團 Mew 攜新專輯載譽重臨香港
Mew 在丹麥有「國寶級搖滾樂隊」的美譽，同時深受全球樂迷的愛戴。2013年YourMum首次為香港樂迷帶來Mew的精彩演出，當年門票被搶購一空的盛況如在目前。暌違4年，Mew更成熟大器，並且攜著他們的新專輯載譽重臨，將於9月18日假九龍灣國際展貿中心MusicZone舉行他們的香港音樂會。
從1997年發行首張專輯《A Triumph for Man》開始，Mew透過只屬於他們神秘優美而飽含情緒的作品一步一步征服全球樂迷的心。2003年發行的《Frengers》製作出色，配合主唱 Jonas Bjerre細膩高坑的聲音每每散發淒美浪漫讓人著迷的氣質，因此讓他們在全球取得空前的成功。他們自我介紹為「全球唯一能於大型音樂場館表現的獨立樂隊」，雖不至「唯一」，但事實證明他們所言非虛。憑藉他們音樂中壯闊而史詩式的層層推進、優美得讓人哀傷的旋律、加上主唱纖細恬靜的氣息，Mew的現場演出美好得儼如夢境般不真實。
經過時間的洗禮及雕琢，Mew這次帶來於今年4月發行的全新專輯《Visions》再度來港為樂迷演出。對比舊作《And the Glass Handed Kites》的暗黑詭異、《+ -》的多元繽紛，新專輯不但集合Mew標誌性宏偉的歌曲結構和磅礴的旋律，製作上更嚴謹，音色也更華麗，處處顯示出一支成功的樂團不甘於固地自封，不斷求 進的野心。 Mew這次來港將帶來全陣容演出並且配合完整的視覺元素，千萬不要錯過他們夢幻的現場魅力。
