DJ Biography: Así Mosmi
With a record collection covering Deep House, Nu Disco, Funk, Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz, Reggae, Dancehall, Latin and Spanish Music, Así Mosmi has provided the soundtrack to parties and events in several countries with her unmistakable style of transmitting good vibes to the dance floor via her music.
Asi Mosmi started working as a selector in various beach venues across her native Venezuela in 2009, using her ear for recognising good music and putting it to good use. As well as playing live sets, she found that she was also in demand from restaurants and bars who would ask her to create themed playlists for them to use to enhance the mood of their restaurant throughout the day and night.
During her time in Hong Kong, she has played at all the events of the Official Barça Hong Kong Fan Club, as well as numerous parties at Baby Buddha Club in Lan Kwai Fong, Mavericks Beach Bar & Grill on Lantau Island, and Alzina Spanish Asador Restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui.
She has worked for established Hong Kong promoters such as Heavy Hong Kong, Magnetic Soul and Bass Music China. She recently warmed up for Metalheadz legend Goldie, she has also played at the Outlook Festival Hong Kong launch boat party and Le Fete de la Musique with Tree-Angels.
Aside from the clubbing scene, Así Mosmi has worked as Resident DJ for various dining venues such as Catalunya Hong Kong (voted for Best Brunch in Hong Kong by Tatler Magazine during her time there), the 5 star H Hotel in Dubai, also LALUZ Bar & Lounge Dubai, to name a few, and she is currently the Resident DJ of Gaucho Restaurant in Hong Kong.
In addition to the DJing, Asi Mosmi has also gained valuable experience working as an Entertainment Supervisor at the above-mentioned venues in Dubai, where she used her eye for talent to source DJ's, live bands, dancers and singers to perform.
